A penumbral lunar eclipse will take place across North America Friday night with the Full Hunter's Moon. Although clear skies will make for great viewing, out location on the globe along with the fact that the moon, earth and sun are not in direct alignment will only allow for a small shadow to be cast on the southern part of the moon. Regardless, somewhat milder weather will slowly return to the Beehive state over the next few days with more sun than not. The nights will be seasonably chilly, so plan accordingly. A small batch of moisture running out of Canada may clip the north slopes of the Uintas late this weekend with a snow shower; otherwise no precipitation is expected for at least the next 7 days. Enjoy, and happy weekend!
