Ultimate Utah Wedding: Meet The Two Finalists

Meet the two couples who are in the running to win a $60,000 Ute-Themed wedding!
Ashley Kittelsrud & Colton Groves

Their Story:
We met the summer of 2007 at Pioneer Bible Camp in Eden, Utah. In January of 2012 we reconnected through Facebook and friends in St. George and officially became a couple March 30, 2012. A few months after that Ashley moved up to Salt Lake City to finish her Associate's degree in Business and then start on her Bachelor's. Although, she was technically moving to Salt Lake City for school, Colton was a big part of that decision. We both currently attend the University of Utah. Colton is in the Architecture program and Ashley is studying Exercise & Sport Science.

We applied for this wedding because it has been something that Ashley has dreamed of since the very first year that it was announced. We are also huge advocates for the U and we want to help promote our school in any way possible. The University of Utah doesn't just have the best athletics in the PAC-12, but great academics, too! Colton has dreamed of going to the U's Architecture program since he was little and he chose the University of Utah over California Polytechnical. Additionally, we applied to the Ultimate Utah Wedding because we are full-time students who also have part-time jobs, and it becomes extremely difficult to pay for and plan a wedding - especially with Colton in the rigorous and time-intensive Architecture program. Lastly, we are huge Ute fans and would be honored to have our dream wedding at the Rice-Eccles Football Stadium. It would be a blessing for both of us and our families if we won - we would be able to share the great Utah traditions with the extended Utah Alumni.

Alexandria Woodall & Jordan Burningham

Their Story
We are both from the Davis County area. We knew each other in high school. We had many mutual friends but fate didn't bring us together until about a year ago. We both love athletics, health, and the University of Utah. Alexandria has two children, Koda and Gracelyn. Koda's cancer treatment took place at Primary Childrens Medical Center. What made those difficult times bearable for Koda was going by the U of U stadium! We are eternally grateful for the University and its treatment of our little boy. The University of Utah has been a part of our lives since before we can remember, From Andre Miller and the Final Four Utah basketball days, to the Alex Smith Undefeated season Fiesta bowl, and the Sugar Bowl, crushing Alabama! We heard about this wedding giveaway from a cousin, and at the time had just postponed our wedding date to figure out how to afford our wedding. We have both had medical bills consistently for the past few years, and school debt piling up. We have tried to be very loving and giving all our lives and feel this is our time to win! We would be eternally grateful to win this wedding, but regardless of what happens, we are incredibly grateful just for the opportunity to win the Ultimate Utah Wedding!!
