SUMMIT COUNTY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) – Police responded to a house in Oakley on information that the suspect, Matthew Nielsen, was holding a woman against her will.

The woman, Terry Flink, called two separate people in the Salt Lake Valley and told them that she was being held against her will.

The Flink said she was drugged and when she tried to escape, she was tackled by Neilsen and dragged back into the house.

Summit County Sheriff’s Office obtained a search warrant and was later served by the SWAT team.

Members of SWAT established a perimeter around the house. Members of the Negotiations team used a PA system to make contact with those inside the house.

After a few minutes the left the house. She did not have any shoes and appeared to be under the influence of an unknown substance.

SWAT team entered the house and found Nielsen hiding under a mattress in one of the bedrooms.

After further investigation, Flink may have not been held entirely against her will. Terry has been charged with harboring a person from arrest.

Both Nielsen and Flink were booked into the Summit County Jail.
