School bus driver killed in crash

WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - One person is dead after a school bus crashed with a garbage truck and a semi truck Friday afternoon.
WEST JORDAN, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - One person is dead after a school bus crashed with a garbage truck and a semi truck Friday afternoon.

The school bus driver identified as Stan Riley, 55, was killed in the crash.

The crash happened at at Mountain View Corridor and Old Bingham Highway around 2:30 p.m. 

The Jordan School District released this statement following the crash: 
       
"Our loss is beyond words. 55-year-old Stan Riley was a bus driver who took great pride in his job and loved the students he served. He was loved and respected in return by fellow drivers and district employees. Stan was an 11-year employee of Jordan School District. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Stan’s family in this very difficult time."
