Police say Syracuse mother killed her daughters, then herself

A 32-year-old mother takes the life of her two young girls and then turns the gun on herself.
SYRACUSE, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - A 32-year-old mother takes the life of her two young girls and then turns the gun on herself.
Police say the three bodies discovered inside a Syracuse home on Tuesday near 2100 west and 1100 south appears to be a murder suicide.

On Wednesday morning officers removed the bodies of 32-year-old Kyler Ramsdell-Oliva, 13-year-old Kenadee Oliva and 7-year-old Isabella Oliva. Police say all three had gun shot wounds to the head.

Neighbors say the three lived there with the mother’s fiancé, but on Tuesday it appeared he was moving out. Over night police obtained a search warrant and began scouring the home taking out evidence. Police say the night prior to the shooting they were called out to the same home for a civil issue.

“The man and a woman who lived here were going through a break up and we were called over here for a property exchange. They were pretty new to the area,” said Officer Erin Behm with the Syracuse Police Department.

Officer Behm says this is an active investigation. Police talked with both neighbors and the fiancé and it is not suspicious. A family cat and two snakes were also obtained by animal control.
