Man found frozen to death in South Salt Lake

SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) – South Salt Lake police say a 22-year-old man froze to death Tuesday night.
SOUTH SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) – South Salt Lake police say a 22-year-old man froze to death Tuesday night.

The body of Kelton M. MacCarthy, 22 year-old was found lying between two cinder block walls near 3837 South 700 East.

MacCarthy was reportedly last seen around 6 or 7 Tuesday night. MacCarthy was dressed for daytime cold weather, but did not have on the proper clothing to withstand nighttime temperatures.

Police say the situation does not appear suspicious. MacCarthy seems to have passed out or fallen asleep and died from exposure to the elements.
