"MLS Cup is growing in popularity in Mexico," said Gerardo Velazquez of TVC Deportes. "There is a lot of interest for a lot of fans there."
"We understand that this is growing," added French journalist Mathieu Darnon of Canal + Sports. "This is becoming something huge here. Little by little, MLS is growing and it's gaining respect around the world."
The game will be broadcast in over 150 countries across the world, as the most popular sport in the globe continues to gain credibility in the United States.
"This is a spectacle," said RSL defender Tony Beltran. "This is a huge event for the league. It's the finals, so there is much more attention. But we are focused on one thing and that's winning the Cup."
Sporting Kansas City and Real Salt Lake will play for the MLS Cup Saturday at 2:00 p.m. mountain time.
