McDonalds responds to what its customers want - modern menus, real ingredients and great taste, but best of all, they have choices that help people meet their dietary goals.

When it comes to breakfast, there are many options depending on your taste preferences. You can go with a yogurt parfait, oatmeal, or an egg sandwich all for under 300 calories.  And last year, the Egg McMuffin received a recipe makeover with whole grains.

When it comes to lunch and dinner, many sandwiches and burgers hover around 500 calories, but you can customize them. Removing sauces can take off as many as 100 calories.  McDonalds has a great phone app that allows you to look at the nutritional value of their menu offerings and then customize and recalculate, so you can plan your choices before ordering.

If you're craving a burger, the classic cheeseburger at McDonald's has just 300 calories.

The honey mustard snack wrap can be a great option at just 250 calories.  Add a smoothie and you have a balanced, colorful lunch. If you are hungrier, the sweet chili chicken McWrap is just 360 calories with grilled chicken.

If you feel like a salad, the Southwest Salad w/ Grilled Chicken is under 300 calories.

And don't forget about McDonald's for your snacks.  A Blueberry Pomegranite Smoothie is just 220 calories.  Oatmeal and milk are also great snacks.
