Fiery plane crash reported at Aspen, Colorado airport

ASPEN, Colorado (ABC 4 Utah) -- A private aircraft that crashed in an Aspen airport and killed at least one person is registered to the Bank of Utah, according to information from the Federal Aviation Administration.

According to 7NEWS in Denver, one person died and two others were hurt in the Sunday afternoon crash. The Pitkin County Sheriff's office told the station that three people were on the plane.

The aircraft was a private Canadair CL-600-2B16 Challenger 601-3R that was coming from Tucson, Arizona to Aspen. According to the FAA's website, the plane was registered to the Bank of Utah on Dec. 16, 2013.
