"Will Dance for Kids Project" is Raising Money for Utah Food Bank

1000 local dancers are joining together to raise money for Kid's Cafe and Backpack Programs at the Utah Food Bank.
"Will Dance for Kids" Project is bringing 1000 local dancers, ages five to 18, together to raise money for the Kid's Cafe and Backpack Programs at the Utah Food Bank.

The dancers from fifteen dance studios across the Wasatch Front have raised more than $25,000 through sponsors, in-kind donations and Hearts & Hands prize drawing tickets, all to help feed hungry kids in the community.

The project is kids helping kids and instills the spirit of giving and sharing in every dancer who participates.

"Will Dance for Kids" Project is both a dance competition and fundraising competition. The Grand Prize will go to the studio with the most donations through fundraising efforts. Individual fundraisers from the studios will win prizes donated by the national dance community which includes a scholarship to World Dance Movement in Italy!

The competition will be Friday, March 7th and Saturday, March 8th at Taylorsville High School.  The final awards will be held at approximately 8:30 p.m. where a check will be presented on stage to the Utah Food Bank representatives.
