Wednesday's Pinpoint Forecast: Smooth travel conditions today with high pressure centered over Utah. However, it's this same high pressure that's trapped moisture and pollution in parts of the state. It's another poor air quality day for the Wasatch Front up to Cache Valley. And there will be more fog and low clouds for the Uinta Basin and down around Moab. Otherwise, it's a really beautiful day with mostly sunny skies and temperatures slightly above average, 40s to around 50 for most of the state, but near 60 for St. George. Thanksgiving Day will be partly to mostly cloudy, hazy along the Wasatch Front, and all locations will be 5-10 degrees above average. This weekend, it will be more clouds than sunshine, with a few showers or mountain snow showers up around Cache County late Saturday and Sunday. Monday of next week, low pressure and an approaching cold front will kick up the wind, cleaning out the bad air. Behind the front, there will be snow with much colder temperatures for Tuesday.
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
