Lake Effect Snow Makes for a Slick Morning Commute
Tuesday's Pinpoint Forecast: Morning Lake Effect snow will wind down by mid-morning, and the rest of the day will be partly cloudy and cold. Highs will only be in the 30s for northern UT, 30s and 40s for the higher elevations of southern UT, 50s in the lower elevations, and 20s in the mountains. Southern UT will have terrific sunshine throughout the day. Tonight will be very cold again, with a lot of the state falling into the 10s and 20s. Wednesday will be slightly warmer with partly cloudy skies up north, mostly sunny down south. Highs will be in the 40s and 50s for most of the state. Thursday will be mostly cloudy, with some rain showers up closer to the Idaho border. Snow levels will be higher, above 7000'. Temperatures will warm up to the 50s to near 60 for Friday and the entire weekend, with partly cloudy conditions.
