BYU dance teacher dies of the flu

PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - Longtime dance instructor with Brigham Young University has died Monday night from complications from the flu.
PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) - Longtime dance instructor with Brigham Young University has died Monday night from complications from the flu.

Delynee Peay died December 13 at 10 p.m. 

According to the BYU Department of Dance, Peay was a member of the faculty since 1974 and was the longest standing faculty member. 

Peay was beloved by many in the Department of Dance. One of her students, Katilyn T. Gourley, has set up a donation site to assist with the medical bills. 

BYU community is holding a dance event to celebrate Peay's life a 7 p.m. Wednesday in the Richards Building on the BYU Campus, Rooms 270-278.
