After all the "hoopla" the head coach gives his opinion on the homecoming attire.
PROVO, Utah (ABC 4 Sports) - A lot was made of the infamous "THS" jerseys in August, however, after BYU wore the threads for their homecoming game against Georgia Tech the jerseys went relatively unnoticed.
"It was anticlimactic," BYU head coach Bronco Mendenhall said. "I could say a lot of things right now, but I don't know what the big deal was. I really don't."
Instead of names on the back of their jersey's, each player had "Tradition", "Honor" or "Spirit" as their name plate.
"That is who we are," Mendenhall joked. "It made me smile that a comet didn't crash on the stadium when we wore them."
BYU beat Georgia Tech 38-20.
