Jacksonville, FL (Sports Network) - The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Tuesday that defensive end Jason Babin is expected back for the start of training camp after undergoing groin surgery.
Babin started five games for the Jaguars last season after being claimed off waivers from the Philadelphia Eagles.
The 33-year-old Western Michigan product signed with the Eagles as a free agent in 2011 and racked up 18 sacks over 16 games. He totaled just 5 1/2 sacks in 11 games last year before the Eagles decided to part ways.
Babin has registered 55 career sacks.
