TOOELE, Utah (ABC 4 Utah) -UPDATE: Tuesday, August 6, 2013. Tooele City Police are still asking for help from the public in locating Jane Ashby.

Jane Ashby is believed to have recently purchased household cleaning chemicals which, when mixed, can produce toxic fumes. Police are asking the public to use caution and contact their local police department immediately if Ms. Ashby or her vehicle is located and do not approach the vehicle.

Police are looking for Jane Ashby, 62, of Toole. Ashby left her house at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday morning and purchased Drano and bleach and she has not been seen since.

Ashby told her family she was going to a work meeting, but the family has since found out there was no meeting.

Her cell phone pinged off towers in Draper and American Fork.

Police are asking the public to keep an eye out for her or her car, a red Ford Escape with the plates B338RG.

Police are also asking people to be cautious if they find the vehicle because the chemicals can be used to make a poisonous gas which could be dangerous to anyone who approaches the vehicle.
