Ogden man arrested in domestic violence murder case

OGDEN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - An Ogden man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence homicide after his girlfriend was found dead in his home.
OGDEN, Utah (ABC 4 News) - An Ogden man was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence homicide after his girlfriend was found dead in his home.

According to police, officers responded to a report of an unattended death in the 1300 block of Douglas Avenue on Saturday October 20.

During the course of the investigation, police say it was determined there was evidence to support the cause of death as a homicide.

The victim, 38-year-old Marnie Stark, was pronounced dead at McKay-Dee Hospital.

Police say Stark's live-in-boyfriend,  43-year-old Jeffrey Dene White was later arrested and was expected to be booked into the Weber County Jail on suspicion of 1st degree felony murder, along with two counts of 3rd degree felony charges of commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child.

According to investigators, two children under the age of 10 were present during the murder, but were not harmed.

Stark's funeral will be held in her hometown of Morgan, Utah on Friday October 26.
