FARMINGTON, Utah - A Layton nurse is arrested after allegedly forging fake prescriptions for pain killers. 33-year-old Camille Hyatt has been charged with seven felony counts for forging prescriptions.

Police say they were tipped off by a pharmacist at the Walgreens in Kaysville.

Davis County Deputy Attorney Rick Westmoreland said, “There was something that caught that particular pharmacists attention and looked at that and saw she was getting multiple scripts."

When police questioned Hyatt she admitted she had called in several fake prescriptions and even stole a pad from her work to get the narcotic pain killers. She told police she worked at Primary Children’s Hospital in the infant surgical critical care unit.

Prosecutors say Hyatt wasn’t selling the drugs, she was using them herself. She faces up to five years in jail for each felony count. A court date has not yet been set.
