2 tsp sugar
dash of salt
1 cup milk
10 slices Texas toast
Break eggs into wide shallow bowl or deep pie dish. Lightly beat with fork. Add sugar, salt and milk
Over medium-low heat place griddle or frying pan.
Place slice of bread and coat with mixture. Do just the slices you plan on cooking at that moment. (Soak too long and get the dreaded soggy French toast!)
Cook each slice until golden brown.
Ok, that was easy. Now comes the fun part...
While still hot, sprinkle a liberal portion of brown sugar on each slice and allow to melt. Next spread a tablespoon of sour cream on top of brown sugar. Last - place sliced strawberries to cover slice. Serve while still hot.
