* Much of the female population has some form of disordered eating. Many people could easily dismiss my blog or this segment thinking "Well, I don't have an eating disorder." Although that may be true, think about other types of disordered eating that effects SO many women. Yo-yo dieting, food restrictions/meal skipping, night-time snacking/binges, guilt/shame from eating, diet pills, and extreme diet programs.
* I feel it is important to love all foods and not restrict at all. Healthy foods and not so healthy foods alike, it is all about moderation. Food is here for us to love and enjoy, and so many people categorize certain foods as being "bad or naughty" when in reality, all foods should be acceptable.
* Why it is important to live a consistently active life - to be able to eat the foods you want to eat, to alleviate stress, and to just live an overall healthy life.
* One of my passions is to be able to help motivate people to live an active life. One of the biggest struggles people have is getting motivated and STAYING motivated, and ultimately, that is why they don't feel they're able to eat whatever they want - because they're just not active enough, on a consistent basis. I love helping people to get them excited about reaching their goals and coaching them to live an active lifestyle.
