Dabakis believes that within his two years as the Democratic chair, it is a likely scenario that the Utah Democratic Party would have a real shot at a U.S. Senatorial seat.
However, if either Mitt Romney or Jon Huntsman were to become a nominee for the presidential election, Dabakis believes that would make it a challenge for Democrats to take up congressional spots in Utah.
Despite Dabakis' belief that the country would be a better place if there were more Democrats, he does not believe that the one-sided system that Utah is leaning towards would not be a good thing.
"A one-party system is not good in Utah," Dabakis says. "We need a two-party system."

In this segment, Dabakis discusses a couple people who may run, describing them as strong Democrats with common sense. One possibility is Wayne Holland as a congressional candidate. For other potential candidates, Dabakis says we will just have to be surprised.
