It will be another hot day across the state, but temperatures are starting to cool down (a little). Highs will be in the 90s to around 100 up north, but still well into the 90s to around 110 for southern Utah and St. George. Skies will be partly cloudy with isolated mountain thunderstorms. Fire danger is still VERY HIGH, so be careful this weekend with fireworks.
For the 4th, it will be hot with highs in the 90s up north, 100+ down south, and there will be isolated thunderstorms mainly over the mountains. Through the holiday weekend, temperatures will cool a few degrees, while thunderstorm activity will increase. If you're heading into the mountains, expect to get hit with storms.
Have a great day!
