Hump Day's Pinpoint Forecast: Southeast Utah is under a FLASH FLOOD WATCH for later this afternoon. There's been steady rainfall down around Lake Powell through the night, so there could be some active washes and higher streamflow around the area. Once again, it's south central and southeast Utah with most of the rain and storms. Isolated storms will develop for the Wasatch Front, through the west deserts, down to Dixie. Highs will be in the 80s to low 90s up north, into the upper 90s for Dixie, but 70s and 80s in the showers. Thursday, isolated storms will develop across the state, with near season average in the 80s and 90s. Drier, sunnier, and breezy weather will move in for the weekend, which should be very nice!
(By the way, I'm not a big fan of the term 'hump day')
Have a great Wednesday!
