Tuesday's Pinpoint Forecast: FLOOD WATCH for most of central and southern Utah. The heaviest rain will be in this area, steady precipitation with imbedded heavy thunderstorms. Areal flooding, and flash flooding are a concern, and most waterways across southern Utah will be running high. A few light showers, perhaps a very isolated thunderstorm will move across the Wasatch Front. All in all, it's a cloudy day with cooler temps, highs in the 70s and 80s across the state. Wednesday, rain will shift farther north, but southern Utah will still see scattered showers and heavy downpours, so the flooding potential will remain high. Highs will be in the 70s and 80s with mostly cloudy skies. Thursday and Friday, most of the rain and storms will be across northern Utah, with scattered thunderstorms capable of producing flash flooding across southern Utah. The weather will start to dry out this weekend, with isolated storms still possible on Saturday, but mostly sunny skies on Sunday. Highs will warm back into the 80s and 90s for most locations.
Have a great Tuesday!
