Thursday's Pinpoint Forecast: Another warm and muggy day for Utah. Isolated thunderstorms will develop this afternoon, but they won't be as numerous as the last few days. South wind will increase this afternoon across the western part of Utah, gusting to 25mph+. Highs will be in the 70s and 80s in the higher elevations, but 90s for most of northern Utah, the Wasatch Front, and down to Utah's Dixie. Friday will be very similar, warm, muggy, breezy, with isolated afternoon thunderstorms. This weekend, the thunderstorm activity will increase as a cold front approaches. Both Saturday and Sunday, there will be widespread thunderstorms across the state. Highs will start to cool down, mainly 80s to near 90 on Saturday, and mainly 80s for Sunday. The cold front will bring slightly cooler and drier air to the state for the beginning of next week for northern Utah, but southern Utah will still stay humid with thunderstorms as the front will stall across the central part of the state.
It's almost the weekend!
