Drier day, but plenty of moisture is headed our way.
Thursday's Pinpoint Forecast: Mostly sunny and drier across the state today, with a few isolated mountain storms over the Uintas, Wasatch Plateau, Tavaputs Plateau, and down near Fish Lake. Highs will be in the 80s and 90s, low to mid 90s for the Wasatch Front, and up to 105 down around Dixie. Friday will be very similar, but an isolated storm is possible for the Wasatch Front very late in the evening. This weekend, the thunderstorm activity will really increase as tropical moisture along with low pressure trigger storms. Widespread thunderstorms will pepper the state both Saturday and Sunday, so if you have outdoor plans, you might want to grab the rain gear. Temperatures will be in the 80s and 90s.
It's almost Friday!
