Curtis' Monday Pinpoint Forecast

FLOOD WATCH for southern and eastern Utah.
Monday's Pinpoint Forecast: FLOOD WATCH for southern and southeastern Utah today. While the Wasatch Front and northern Utah will be dry and partly cloudy, showers with heavier thunderstorms will fall from the Uinta Basin, through central Utah, and widespread across southern Utah. Highs will be close to or below average, with 75-85 across the state, 50s and 60s in the higher elevations. Tuesday, clouds and rainfall will slowly spread north. Northern Utah will see clouds, but not much rain. Showers and thunderstorms will again move across the Uinta Basin through southeastern Utah to the southwest part of the state. The majority of the rain will be light to moderate showers, but heavier storms will the potential of flooding will also develop. Wednesday will be a wet day for northern Utah, showers and a few thunderstorms will keep temperatures down in the 60s and 70s for the most part. Southern Utah will see a little more sunshine, but that will destabilize the atmosphere allowing for bigger storms to develop. Showers and storms will continue on Thursday and Friday, but clear out for the weekend.
Get ready for a wet week!
Have a great Monday,
