Curtis' Monday Pinpoint Forecast

FLASH FLOOD WATCH for central and southern Utah.
Monday's Pinpoint Forecast: A FLASH FLOOD WATCH has been issued for central and southern Utah. The monsoon is back with a vengeance! Today will be hot with scattered thunderstorms developing throughout the state. The central and southern mountains could see the heaviest rain, but storms will develop as far north as Vernal and Logan. Highs will be in the 80s and 90s for most of the state. This monsoon pattern will continue into mid week, with scattered storms expected every afternoon, thus flooding will continue to be a concern. Regarding the fires burning in the state, somewhat lighter wind and more humidity is helping firefighters get a better handle on containment. Thunderstorms with heavy rain are good, but gusty winds and the potential for mudslides are not.
This guy here has a serious case of the Mondays...
Have a great day!
