4th of July Pinpoint Forecast: IT RAINED! ending a streak of 36 days without measurable precipitation. The storms pounding the Wasatch Front will move out in time for all the parades. It will still be hot, with highs in the 80s and 90s up north, 90s and 100s down south. Isolated afternoon mountains thunderstorms will spread this evening. Some fireworks displays could be threatened by storms. For Friday and through the weekend, hot with highs in the 80s and 90s up north, up to 105 down by St. George. Scattered thunderstorms will pepper the state every afternoon and evening. Heavy downpours are possible with the storms.
