A curious little girl, Zoee is almost always checking things out. Monday morning, she stuck her chubby little toddler leg between one of the rails on her bed.
Her mother, Whitney Neilson, couldn't get her out.
"She was in pain when I tried to pull it out. You could tell it hurt her, but mostly you could tell she was just scared. She was reaching for me," Neilson said.
Neilson pulled and tugged, but Zoee's leg wouldn't budge, so she came up with a temporary solution.
"She was screaming at first and then I brought my computer in here and turned on Mickey Mouse Club House for her and that cheered her up. After that she was fine."
With Zoee happily distracted, Neilson called 9-1-1 for help. Help arrived at least 25 minutes after Zoee had gotten stuck.
"They came and got her out in three minutes, it was probably less than that. They got her out really quick," Nielson said.
Zoee's only injury is a small bruise.
Zoee's bed was manufactured in 2006 by Dorel Asia. Her parents say they are going to remove the side railing to her bed to prevent her from getting stuck again.
