Wildlife experts believe he's a yearling that was booted by his mother and was looking for a new place to live.
After a short chase, the moose ended up under a tree in a field near a neighborhood and high school. It wasn't safe, so wildlife crews moved in on him but unfortunately he got spooked and took off again.
The poor moose's day didn't end there.
When the moose was tranquilized, he was paralyzed instead of knocked out, which made his anxiety rise. Crews had to hose him down to keep him cool.
He was taken to the station where he was given anti-parasite medicine, tagged, then given a reversal drug for the tranquilizer.
People living near the area say it made for an exciting day.
