The most recent robbery happened August 20 at the University Credit Union at 2752 South Redwood Road around 5:30 p.m. Surveillance cameras show the man wearing a gray long sleeve button-up, blue jeans, gray baseball cap and dark sunglasses. The suspect is a white male in his mid-twenties, measuring about 5’10” tall, with a thin to average build.
Police reports say that after demanding money from the teller via note, the man left the bank on foot, carrying an undisclosed amount of money. Nobody was injured during the robbery.
Two other similar robberies have occurred in the past two weeks; one at US Bank, 4135 S. Redwood Road, in Taylorsville on August 9, and another at the Zion’s Bank located at 3712 West 3500 South, in West Valley City.
