Police Investigate Death in Utah County

Utah County, Utah (ABC 4 Utah)- The Utah County Sheriffs office is investigating what came in as a fatal hit and run auto pedestrian accident, but what may be much more.
UTAH COUNTY, Utah (ABC 4 Utah)- The Utah County Sheriff's Office is investigating the suspicious death of a Spanish Fork teenager.

Sgt. Spencer Cannon confirmed 17-year-old Nathan Tyler Haun was found dead in the middle of Arrowhead Trail by a driver early Saturday morning.

Cannon said Haun's death is suspicious because of significant physical trauma to the body and because people who may have information are not cooperating.

Detectives said Haun was at a house party in Payson Friday night before he died. He got into an argument with another teen over a girl, but investigators do not think the other teen played a part in Haun's death. Other teenagers and their parents are not talking to investigators.

Haun had head to toe trauma to his body, which investigators believe is the result of Haun falling out of a moving car or being pushed. Evidence showed Haun's body rolled over 100 feet on the street.

If you have any information about Haun's suspicious death, you're asked to call the Utah County Sheriff's Office.
