Utah National Guard officials say the cities of Kaysville, South Salt Lake, Centerville, Morgan, Farr West, West Bountiful and Hopper will take part during their Independence Day celebrations next week.
The Community Covenant program is an effort to educate local leaders on the challenges that service members and their families face before, during and after a deployment.
Each community signs a specially tailored covenant outlining their commitment to support military families.
Other cities that recently signed the pledges include West Valley City, Pleasant View and Huntsville.
