General conference is hosted semi-annually by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The event is expected to bring more than 100,000 people to downtown Salt Lake City.
UTA also offers extended service for the Utah State Fair, University of Utah football games, and other cultural events that draw large crowds.
On Saturday, Oct. 5, Blue Line trains from Draper will run every 10 minutes from 8:09 to 8:49 a.m., 12:09 to 12:49 p.m. and 4:09 to 4:49 p.m. to allow passengers to travel to general conference and priesthood sessions.
Extra Blue Line trains will run to Draper after general conference sessions.
On Sunday, Oct. 6, Blue, Red and Green Line TRAX trains will run early to provide transportation to the general conference morning session.
Blue Line service will begin in Draper at 7:49 a.m., with trains running every 20 minutes. Blue Line trains will run every 10 minutes from 8:19 to 8:39 a.m. Red Line service will begin at 7:49 a.m. in Daybreak and 8:56 a.m. from University of Utah Medical Center. Green Line service will begin at 8:19 a.m. from West Valley Central and 9:16 a.m. from the Salt Lake International Airport.
