Interstate 80 in Salt Lake County, lane restrictions
- I-80 in Parleys Canyon from the I-215 ramp to the rock quarry will be reduced to one lane in each direction during nighttime hours Sunday through Friday as crews work to install a new drainage pipe. Drivers should be aware of occasional 15 minute delays for blasting in the canyon.
- Westbound I-80 from 6000 West to exit 102 will be reduced to one lane beginning Monday, June 3, for concrete maintenance. All lanes are scheduled to open during the afternoon commute from 4 to 7 p.m., but drivers should plan ahead for minor delays and consider S.R. 201 as an alternate route.
- Westbound I-80 from 700 East to 200 East will be reduced to two lanes nightly on Saturday, June 8, and Sunday, June 9, from 9 p.m. to 10 a.m. for bridge repairs.
I-215 from North Temple; lane restrictions
Southbound and northbound I-215 from North Temple will be reduced to two and three lanes respectively from 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. for concrete resurfacing from May 28 through mid-August. Southbound I-215 closures will take place from North Temple to S.R. 201. Northbound lane closures will take place from North Temple to 800 North.
U.S. Highway 6, lane restrictions
U.S. 6 from Diamond Fork to the U.S. 89 junction will be reduced to one lane in each direction 24 hours a day from June 3 to 8 for road resurfacing. Crews will work from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., but lane closures will remain in place while the pavement cures. All traffic will be shifted to one side of the road and then shifted back onto the new pavement while crews complete the other side. Drivers should plan ahead for minor delays.
Resurfacing work will also take place on U.S. 6 from Santaquin to Elberta. The highway will be reduced to one-way traffic with a pilot car from June 9 to 20 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
State Route 88; lane restrictions
S.R. 88 from U.S. 40 to Ouray will be reduced to one lane with flaggers from June 3 through August during daylight hours. Drivers should plan for approximately 15-minute delays.
I-15 from Payson to Spanish Fork; lane restrictions
I-15 from the South Payson interchange to Spanish Fork will be narrowed to two 10-foot lanes through the fall and reduced to one lane nightly Monday through Friday 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Crews are widening I-15 and repaving the existing lanes. Drivers are encouraged to use caution in the work zone.
U.S. 89 from Provo to Springville; lane restrictions
U.S. 89 from Provo to Springville will be reduced to one lane in each direction during overnight hours. Crews are removing the top layer of asphalt and replacing it with new pavement to extend the life of the road.
