According to Murray City Police a maroon colored sports utility vehicle with tan trim pulled up to the home and shot two rounds into the home. People who live at the home did not want to go on camera but tell ABC's Kim Johnson they do not know who is responsible.
Eight people live in the home, three of them are children. Their mother told ABC 4 when she her the gunfire, she and her kids took cover under their bunk beds.
The first bullet struck the home and the second shattered a window and hit a female inside the home. Police tell ABC 4 News they have no reason to believe the home has any gang ties. The victim is expected to survive.
