If you have old computers or other electronics you need to toss be sure to come out to the Maverick Center this weekend to properly dispose of your E-Waste.

1) What is E-Waste? E-Waste is electronic waste that includes computers, printers, fax machines, VCR & DVD players, keyboards, copiers, televisions, cell phones, scanners and cameras just to name a few.

2) What happens to your personal information on your cell phone or computer after it is dropped off?
Because we are not donating, refurbishing or selling the items all of your data is destroyed.
Once they receive your device, we lock it in a semi-trailer and drive it to a certified recycle facility in the United States. There we shred all items into confetti-sized pieces.

There will also be a free E-Waste Recycling event April 13th and 14th from 9am to 3pm at the Maverick Center.

Located at:
3200 South Decker Lake Drive, West Valley City
