SALT LAKE CITY (ABC 4 Utah) - "Breaking Pointe," a reality TV show all about Utah and ballet made its second season premiere Monday night. The show is filmed in Salt Lake City and the cast is excited it's back.

The cast isn't the only ones who are amped up.

Big crowds are cheered the premiere for the second season of Breaking Pointe. It's CW 30's reality TV show all about Ballet West filmed in Salt Lake City. The show's stars said you can expect some real drama.

"We're a reality show. There's going to be plenty of reality from the drama of people's personal lives, the drama of people's work lives, but also great art, all of that mixed together," said Adam Sklute, Ballet West Artistic Director.

Monday night the cast and crew mixed in with fans at the premiere viewing party at Salt Lake's Tower Theatre on 9th and 9th. Just like everyone who watched the premiere, dancers have no idea what to expect next.

"We actually don't know. They kept the whole series, sort of a secret to us, we'll be watching it for the first time along with you guys," said Silver Barkes, Artist.

"I have no idea how they're going to edit it, I have no idea what we're going to look like," said Zachary Prentice, Artist.

Although they're still a lot of nerves Monday night about the new season, the cast is excited about the their second opportunity to display Utah and ballet on a massive TV stage.

"That means the world is recognizing what we're really doing and trying to accomplish here with this show," said Sklute.

Sklute tells ABC 4 Utah you're going to see the art of ballet, the drama from life, and Utah all taking center stage for the next two and a half months. Breaking Pointe runs every Monday night at 8:00 p.m. on CW 30, ABC4 Utah's sister station, for the next 10 weeks.
