"It's fun, it's perfect for our kids. Come together and just run around," says Chelsie Taylor.
It's the 2nd annual Utah Pioneer Day Celebration in West Jordan, packed with music, games, vendors and more.
"We've got about sixty acts performing out here, the food is amazing. I'm just excited about the whole thing, it's got the sizzle with it" says organizer, Merrill Osmond.
Sizzle that is helping those in attendance enjoy the present, while reflecting on the past.
"To think about Utah and be able to celebrate Utah and what it stands for and what not, so I do think it's cool to have these family oriented get togethers," says Paul Degraw.
This celebration goes beyond enjoying and honoring our great state. All proceeds go to giving the gift of sound through the Osmond Foundation.
"All the money raised here goes to buying hearing aids and awareness for kids that can't hear," says Osmond.
A cause near and dear to the hearts of one of Utah's most famous families.
"My two older brothers are deaf, my son is deaf, so it runs through the family," says Osmond.
