Alia is like most seven-year-olds spending time at school and playing with her little sisters, but unlike the rest this little girl is on a mission to help Utah's homeless.
Alia told ABC4 News, "You can't be happy when you know people out there don't have good birthdays."
Three weeks ago she decided to put together bags to pass out to the homeless in Salt Lake City.
Alia's Mom Colleen said, "I was stunned at first."
Alia's Mom was surprised with the idea, especially because it was all her daughter.
Colleen said, "It was all in her own head, definitely not from me."
The seven-year-old got to work asking for donations.
Alia said, "I asked for people at church, my dad's co workers and they all donated."
Alia collected toothbrushes, socks, stuffed animals and more; in all Alia gathered 1200 items to help other.
Colleen said, "My living room was over flowing."
Over the Easter weekend Alia passed out 100 bags during the Rescue Mission's easter lunch and people watching her were so impressed.
Colleen said, "She could give them a smile and you could see the love in her face."
Alia has left over donations so she decided to do more calling it her new plan: simply seven.
Alia explained the name, "It's God's special number and I'm seven."
She hopes to give away at least seven of what she now calls "birthday bags" a week and then get more people to help her.
Alia said, "I really, really hope they see me on this and they do it too."
