Man dies hanging upside down at Utah's Zion park

ZION NATIONAL PARK, Utah (AP) - Authorities say a man has died after spending the night hanging upside down when he got stuck rappelling in Utah's Zion National Park.
ZION NATIONAL PARK, Utah (AP) - Authorities say Yoshio Hosobuchi, 84 of Novato California has died after spending the night hanging upside down when he got stuck rappelling in Utah's Zion National Park.
   
The park says his wife went for help on the Subway canyoneering route on Tuesday but were unfamiliar with the area.
   
Mr. Hosobuchi caught his foot while rappelling and was unable to free it.
   
His partner was unable to free him and got disoriented while trying to make it out the canyon. His wife made it out on Wednesday morning and alerted park rangers for help.
   
The Subway is a narrow slot canyon in the Kolob Terrace section of the southern Utah park.
