The event is still more than a month away, but already it has out grown the space at the South Towne Expo Center, so it's moving to the Salt Palace.
Dan Farr, the Producer of Salt Lake Comic Con wanted to bring it here, so he decided to roll the dice and it paid off.
“Over twenty celebrities, some comic book artists and creators coming from across the country, we have a lot of vendors with amazing products they will be selling," says Farr.
The celebrities include William Shatner, Lou Ferrigno and the original Batman and Robin, Adam West and Burt Ward.
"You can meet the celebrities, you can buy autographs from them or you can buy a photo op and get your picture taken with them," says Farr.
The cast is expected to draw in a crowd of 35,000. People who will be riding on Trax, staying at local hotels and dining at restaurants.
"35,000 people, that is a lot of people that probably wouldn't be exposed to some of the things we have to offer in Salt Lake City," says Alex Alder, with the Naked Fish Japanese Bistro.
A lot of people that will be spending a lot of money. According to the downtown alliance each attendee will spend nine hundred and twenty three dollars, on average. Pumping millions of dollars into the local economy.
"The more people we can get in here, the more people that experience it, they go back and tell their friends, that's how we're going to get our business to grow," says Alder.
Salt Lake Comic Con is September 5th-7th. You can get tickets at saltlakecomiccon.com.
