Troy Manning was arrested Monday by Orem police for allegedly passing a bad check.
“We found all sorts of fraudulent id's (and) stolen checks," says Lt. Craig Martinez.
Manning was arrested Monday for passing a bad check at a Staples store in Orem.
“The id he presented to the cashier was obviously fake,” says Lt. Martinez. “So she went back and said I need to check on this."
But Manning didn’t wait. Police say he ran out of the store and into his vehicle.
Police chased him down after employees of the store got his license plate number and that's when they found a mountain of evidence.
“(We found) Items from burglaries in other cities,” says Lt. Martinez. “So it was quite the crime spree this guy has been on.”
In May, Manning was among several arrested in Syracuse for performing in a live sex show. Syracuse police say Manning and several women were performers at the movie theatre.
The live sex show was allegedly done after hours.
But for now, Manning is sitting in a Utah county jail thanks to employees who didn't like his performance at their store.
“It was good on Staples for having employees on the ball,” says Lt. Martinez.
Court records show that a week after Manning was charged with the sex show crime, he was busted in Salt Lake City for again, passing bad checks.
