Two year old Makella Hardman was in the camper when a fire broke out. The trailer was rented out to the girl's mother and father were awoken by the flames and were able to get out with another child.
Tony Hardman, the girl's grandfather, saw smoke coming from the trailer and started to put it out with a fire extinguisher. The girl's whereabouts were unknown until Roosevelt firefighters put out the flames and found her inside.
Investigators do not know the exact cause, but suspect that it started from a sliced extension cord.
Special accounts have been established at Zions Bank and Kings Peak Credit Union in Makella Hardman's name for those wishing to contribute to the family.
