Business owners and drivers familiar with the road say the potholes were caused by a February snow storm when plows tore up the road.
"One day it was clear. Snow hit the next day. The snows cleared with the plows and then there are potholes everywhere," said Courtney Wells from Salt Lake City.
One business owner suggested the potholes may be the result of poor drainage. Some of the drains are clogged with dust allowing water to build on the road.
Business owners say the City is quick to patch the potholes, but they would like a permanent solution to the problem.
