Kate England will be celebrating 12-12-12 for the rest of her life. She was born Wednesday morning at 1:44. Not at 12:12 a.m. but her parents didn't even think they'd get this lucky.
Brittany England said, "We was due today but these two kids were born early at least by a week so we didn't anticipate her actually waiting."
Jason and Brittany England can't believe their luck and either can their friends.
"We've got a lot of texts today that say great birthday. It's a lucky day,” said England.
While Kate doesn't know how lucky she is, there's another birthday girl that's been waiting for this day her whole life.
Brynlee Williams turned 12 on 12-12-12.
Brynlee’s mom Mendee said, "The day we gave birth to her we didn't figure it out till later that day that she'd be 12 on 12/12/12 so we've been waiting for a while."
It's a golden, golden birthday, one that not many people will ever have the chance to celebrate.
Brynlee said, "A lot of them say 'oh my god, how could this be? You're so lucky. I wish this could happen to me' and all that."
While some are celebrating birthdays many more people are making sure today's date is one they never forget; they're getting married.
“I've been waiting forever to meet the right one and now I get to be with him forever."
According to David's Bridal about 7,500 will be getting hitched today. That's nearly a 1,500 percent increase from this time last year.
Groom Mike Steed said, “We thought it was unique and something to remember and thought it was special."
