Executive Director of Utah's Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.
The confirmation of Petilos is expected to happen Tuesday when DABC Commissioners hold their monthly meeting.
If all goes as planned, he will then be approved by the governor and then by the Utah Senate in August.
Petilos is currently the Deputy Executive Director of Utah's Department of Administrative Services.
He would replace Francine Giani who was thrust into her DABC role after former Executive Director,
Dennis Kellen, was caught up in a scandal last year.
