Website helps women decipher men's texts

SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC 4 News) – A new website is helping women decipher cryptic text messages from men.
SALT LAKE, Utah (ABC 4 News) – A new website is helping women decipher cryptic text messages from men.

The website, HeTexted, lets users upload a screen shot of a guy’s text messages. The public helps decide if the man is into the user or not based on their opinion.

“Guys never really know what they want,” Arielle Neely, a Salt Lake resident, said. “I think a website like that can be helpful.”

If you feel uncomfortable showing making your text messages public, you can opt to use the Ask a Bro feature. Three men are willing to analyze the text and tell you what to respond.

“I think it’s cool,” Melissa Wheeler, another resident, said. “But it’s not something I would use.”

The founders of the site say women of all ages are browsing the page and the strongest feedback comes from men.

Research shows users on the site for about an hour or longer.
