At the biggest point, Allie Smith was 310 pounds. She was overweight and frustrated.
Allie said, "I walked and did running, but I hated it and cardio. But then I found pole."
Allie took her curiosity in pole dancing and found Jennifer Wilkinsons.
While they are using a pole, you won't see any tricks these ladies are working out.
Jennifer said, "There is no dancing in the JW model, we are just doing reps and sets."
So that's what Allie started doing; cross training on a pole and in less than a year there have been dramatic results.
Allie now weighs only 180 pounds, down nearly 130 pounds.
A dramatic weight loss and while the numbers on the scale look good, it is how Allie feels she says is the best part.
Allie said, "I may not be a body builder right now, but I'm the healthiest I've been in my life and that is unbelievable."
